Ahlul Bayt News Agency:Rashid Salem Al Junaibi, director of the Islamic information centre of the Dar Al Ber Society said that the number of new Muslims who embraced Islam during 2012 amounted to 1907 of different nationalities.
Junaibi said that the center issued certificates and documents for persons embracing Islam which are approved by the Department of Islamic Affairs in Dubai.
The centre also distributed abayas and legitimate dress on new Muslim women, and included them in sporting and recreational activities, honoring concerts and mass breakfast during the month of Ramadan.
Junaibi added that 2,055 books and CDs were distributed for the definition of Islam during 2012, pointing out that the center takes part in several Radio and TV programmes which include meetings with the new Muslims.
