Al-Attiya condemned in a statement issued here today the barbaric attacks against the unarmed Palestinian people, saying the Israeli government was fully responsible for the consequences of what happens of attacks and desecration of holy sites, saying these provocative actions were a flagrant violation of international law and flagrant defiance of international legitimacy.
He stressed that what is happening in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Hebron of continued Judaizing represents a disregard for the feelings of Arab, Islamic and Christian holy sites and the privacy of peoples’ cultural rights.
He appealed to the international community, the Security Council and the Quartet, in particular to take immediate action to deter Israeli repeated attacks against holy sites and curb the Israeli arrogance, which rejects peace and foments instability and tensions in the region.
