“We call on the leaders to encourage a breakthrough for the political impasse in Bahrain and to fix the corrupt economical, social and human rights components of the state. It is not possible to get out of the current political crisis without an effective push towards a real solution.”
“The discussion of Islamic issues requires talks on Bahrain alongside other important issues. The situation in Bahrain needs a clear stance from the leaders of the Islamic countries to put an end to the bloodshed and re-establish a state in which a dignified life is possible for all Bahrainis and they have the means to participate in this.” Al Wefaq emphasized.
“We call on the Islamic Summit to send a special delegate to meet all parties in Bahrain, evaluate the facts on the ground, facilitate and push towards a long-term political solution.”
