In its meeting, held here today at the sidelines of the IPU’s 121st assembly, the Arab Group unanimously agreed to adopt the document and to submit it to the IPU.
Meanwhile, the delegations taking part in the assembly meetings presented today a motion to the IPU’s governing council on the H1N1 and the role of parliamentarians and parliamentary organisations in combating it.
The UAE had earlier submitted a paper on the progress made and challenges faced on the climate change issue.
