Arab Interim Parliament accepts Al-Sager’s resignation

A number of MPs praised Al-Sager’s role in supporting the Arab Interim Parliament since its establishment three years ago.

They added, the resignation is "An angry shout towards the democratic path in the Arab world".

The parliament elected the four heads of committees, Mohammad Abu Hadeed, Jordan, as head of the Foreign affairs and Politics Committee, Abdulaziz Al-Hassen, Syria, as Rapporteur, Abdulaziz Abul, Bahrain as head of the Economic and Financial Committee, Yasser Jaafar Ibrahim, Sudan, as Rapporteur, Altayib Al-Misbahi, Morocco, as head of the legislative and legal committee, Riyadh Ameen Ismail, Syria, as Rapporteur, and Salwa Al-Masri, Jordan, as head of the Social Affairs Committee, Fadia Al-Adeeb, Syria, as Rapporteur. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Cairo, Dr. Rasheed Al-Hamad said that Al-Sager’s resignation is a great loss to the Arab Parliament.
Al-Hamad expressed to KUNA, his appreciation of Al-Sager’s efforts during his presidency of the Arab Parliament, and highly praised his keenness on joining the Arab stand to what is beneficial to the Arab world.
