Arab League contacts Arab countries to support Al-Quds rescue plan

Moussa said in a press statement that contacts had begun for the payment of the financial pledges, adding the decisions made at Sirt Arab summit will be implemented this week.

 


Moussa also reiterated the league’s stance regarding Israeli practices in Jerusalem and its link to resumption of indirect negotiations. He said that as long as these practices keep on taking place, there is no point in negotiations.

 


Foreign ministers of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee will meet soon to assess the situation in light of the US response to the Arab side as to the start of indirect talks between the Palestinians and Israelis, he added.
