Receiving the Quartet Committee envoy Tony Blair, Shaikh Salman also called on all sides to continue to support the Palestinian Authority, develop its institutions and alleviate the sufferings of Gaza citizens. He hailed the committee’s efforts in general and Blair’s in particular to push the peace process forward. The meeting discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and means of establishing long-lasting peace.
