The decision does in no way serve peace, security and stability in the region for it doesn’t encourage resumption of the peace process nor does it reflect any serious intention to revive it, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Kingdom of Bahrain holds Israel fully responsible for the outcome of its decision and demand that it immediately halt policies jeopardizing the peace process and shaking regional peace and stability, the statement noted.
Bahrain calls on all peace-loving states and the international community to assume their responsibilities and strictly deal with the dangerous situation, the statement added.
It also called for more efforts to be exerted to work out a climate of confidence and reach just and comprehensive peace in the region based on the establishment of a viable, independent, democratic and sovereign Palestinian state.
