Addressing the opening of a legislative term of the Shura Council and house of representative, King hamad said the parliament was serving the country and citizens.
This parliament, he said, was the house of all people and it has a "historic mandate" to honor ambitions of the Bahraini people.
Bahrain, said King Hamad, succeeded in slashing unemployment to 3.8 percent over the past three months coupled with offering training for the unemployed as a step to have jobs.
The government of Bahrain, said the Bahraini Monarch, was doubling efforts tackle inflation, increase the pay and improve the social security system.
The government, he went on, would implement housing projects in the coming two years, in addition to the encouraging of foreign investments.
