Peaceful demonstrations demanding democratic transition were repressed with force and violence on 13th September in Jidhafs city.
The forces opened fire on and chased the peacful protesters. Troops had deployed in and surrounded the area where a peaceful mass march was called for by the National Democratic Opposition Parties. The scheduled march was arbitrarily and unlawfully banned by the regime within its policy of violation of freedom and rights.
Many citizens suffered from suffocation due to the excessive use of toxic teargas by the regime forces.
