KUNA: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met today with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, it was announced here late Wednesday.
State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement that Clinton affirmed "the long-standing commitment of the United States to a strong partnership with both the people and the Government of Bahrain.
" The statement added that they discussed "the full range of regional and bilateral issues, including the Bahraini Government’s ongoing efforts to implement the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI)."
