This came in a press release carried by the official Saudi Press Agency following a mini summit held here at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the participation of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Prince Al-Faisal said "all Arab leaders would be informed on outcomes of this summit." A statement was issued on Wednesday following the conclusion of Riyadh summit at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud which included participation from Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, and His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The statement called for the implementation of the collective will of the leaders to achieve reconciliation which started in Kuwait on January 20, 2009 and the call by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul aziz to turn the page on the past and overcome differences in the interest of the Arab nation.
The leaders said the meeting marks the beginning of a new phase in the relations among the four countries seeking to serve the Arab issues, including cooperation and hard work and continued support for the good of Arab countries and to agree on a unified Arab policy in the face of the key issues facing the Arab world, particularly the Palestinian issue.
