HH Sayyid Fahd was given an official farewell at the Presidency. The national anthems of the two countries were played and he inspected a guard of honour. Later, HH Sayyid Fahd and his delegation arrived in the city of Isfahan, the second leg of his visit to Iran. He was greeted on his arrival at the airport by senior Iranian officials.
HH Sayyid Fahd toured the ancient and historic city. His visit covered Seyosbool and Khajo bridges on Zayindi river which date back to the Safwai reign 400 years ago. He also visited an ancient mosque built by the Saljoukis and which dates back to thousand years. He was accompanied by the official delegation.
