The meeting reviewed the panel’s work and achievements.
Shaikh Abdulrahman said the committee aimed to provide stability conditions for foreign workers, strengthen communication between labourers and employers and contribute to finding solutions to labour disputes.
The participants also discussed the efforts to follow up on construction workers and improve the work environment in the sector. Workers’ safety was also discussed during a presentation on a report from the occupational safety and health department on inspection of worksites and labour camps.
Shaikh Abdulrahman said the committee was working hard to achieve its goals to improve foreign workers’ condition in cooperation with the other concerned agencies.
