The center, to be based in Doha, capital of Qatar, will strengthen security cooperation among the GCC members and joint action against illicit drug trafficking, Al-Attiyah told reporters.
He highly appreciated the efforts made by Oman under Sultan Qabous Bin Said Al-Said in implementing the decisions of the regional bloc and promoting the joint action.
