"The military acts by Israel late last week claimed several innocent lives and injured scores of other; they constitute flagrant breach of the international laws and conventions," Al-Zayyani said in a press release here.
"The Israeli aggressions put the regional peace and security in peril and require urgent measures by the United Nations and the Quartet on the Middle East peace," he underscored.
The GCC chief reaffirmed the supportive stance of the regional bloc and all its six member states to the Palestine question and to the Palestinians in their legitimate struggle for self-determination and statehood.
