Speaking to the press, the official said that questioning the government on its performance was a constitutionally given right for MPs and only the government and parliament have the right to comment on the issues concerning the grilling.

The Kuwaiti people have the right to question their government and the state is willing to listen to people’s complaints or suggestions regarding matters that would contribute to the development of the political scene, stated Sheikh Ahmad.

MP Daifallah Aburamiya submitted his request to grill the head of the government His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
