“Tehran and Moscow are seriously pursuing their strategic policy of supporting the Syrian and Iraqi governments against the ISIL,” said Amir Abdollahian in the meeting.
He said that Iran’s four-article plan to resolve the Syrian crisis and Moscow’s ideas for solving that crisis through diplomatic channels have shared standpoints.
On recent developments in Yemen, Abdollahian evaluated them in line with the interests of the entire internal and regional sides involved in that country and in case of Bahrain he said that national dialogue is the best solution.
“Iran considers the security of the Persian Gulf countries and the region as its own security and stability,” he added.
Amir Abdollahian arrived in Moscow on Monday to boost joint efforts with the country’s strategic partner to find new ways for putting an immediate end to bloodsheds in various parts of the region.
