Head of Iranian delegation Ahmad-Reza Dastgheib told Omani speaker that friendly relations between Tehran and Muscat can be a role model of sustainable ties between regional countries.
He said Iran and Oman cooperation in various political, parliamentary, economic, and cultural fields are very useful for developing peace and stability in the region.
Referring to recent Saudi Arabia military aggression against Yemen, Dastgheib said that the sad events in Yemen are harmful to stability in the region and that regional countries should work together to restore peace to the region.
Meanwhile, Omani Speaker Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Mawali said Iran and Oman are two important and influential countries in the region and have good cooperation in regional developments.
He said all countries of the region should work together to remove the crisis in Yemen.
Iranian delegation also met with the parliamentary delegation from Venezuela and exchanged views on the most important regional and international issues.
