Larijani said his two-day visit to Kuwait and Qatar was "fruitful and beneficial".
Talking to reporters after arrival at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport from Qatar, he expressed the hope that Iran’s economic cooperation would be expanded with Qatar and Kuwait in the near future.
The Iranian top lawmaker noted that the latest regional developments were also discussed during his visit.
Larijani stressed that the level of parliamentary relations are set to be increased among Iran, Qatar and Kuwait.
Larijani left Tehran for Kuwait at the top of a parliamentary delegation on the first leg of a regional tour that also took him to Qatar on Monday evening.
He wrapped up his visit to the two Arabic countries on Wednesday evening.
Both Iran and Qatar have recently augmented efforts to further expand ties and cooperation in all the different political, economic, defense, security, judicial and cultural fields.
The two Persian Gulf littoral states recently signed several protocols to increase mutual cooperation.
Iran and Kuwait have also sought to expand bilateral ties through exchanging several high-ranking delegations in the last few years.
