Responding to reporters’ questions at a joint news conference with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, Zebari said: "We in Iraq are waiting for a government makeup, and then we’ll begin discussion with Kuwait through the joint committee that would look into all outstanding issues of mutual interest.

" Zebari reaffirmed his country’s abidance by all relevant international resolutions bearing on the relation between Kuwait and Iraq.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi foreign minister said Iraq would play host to an Arab summit in March 2011, noting that a preparatory meeting would be held at the Arab League to discuss necessary arrangements for the coming summit.
He said the fact that the coming Arab summit would be held in Iraq is a clear-cut message of strong Arab support for Iraq.

For his part, the Arab League’s chief said his meeting with the Iraqi foreign minister had focused on Iraqi preparations for the next Arab gathering in Baghdad.
