The President was briefed by Al Zayani on preparations for the 14th consultative summit of the GCC leaders scheduled to be held in Riyadh this month.
Shaikh Khalifa was also updated on what had been implemented in regards to resolutions issued by the GCC summit held in Riyadh last December.
Shaikh Khalifa expressed his confidence that the upcoming consultative meeting would advance the GCC march in all fields in a way that realises aspirations of peoples of member states.
The GCC secretary general said he listened to the prudent directives of Shaikh Khalifa on adequate means to energise the GCC joint action.
He indicated that he also sensed the UAE President’s keenness to push GCC integration forward so as to be able to address present and future challenges.
