He said that the Iraqi officials also held a false notion that Kuwaiti intelligentsia were active in southern areas of Iraq such as Zeghar, Maisan and Basra. Al-Redha labeled some high-ranking officials in the current Iraqi government as, ‘workers or slaves of the Iranian regime.’
He affirmed that Iran was the main source that urged sheikh Kazem Al-Enaizan to release his statement yesterday over the presence of Kuwaiti intelligence in southern Iraq and of Kuwait’s support for self-government in southern Iraq too.
He explained that Kuwait did not interfere in Iraq’s internal affairs and added that such statements were being released to instigate the Arab regimes in the region.
