"The State of Kuwait is aware that the best use of outer space comes through multilateral work under the principles and charter of the UN and also via seeking to maintain international peace and security," said the Second Secretary of Kuwait permanent mission at the UN Abdulaziz Al-Ajmi in a statement to the UN Disarmament and International Security Committee of the General Assembly’s 68th session Friday evening.
Kuwait supports the establishment of a committee in the framework of the UN disarmament conference to discuss this topic within a comprehensive and balanced program, said Al-Ajmi.
