According to the newspaper, Baghdad government had asked the Kuwaiti government to provide quantities of weapons and clothing to meet the needs of its military and security forces especially in light of the security conditions experienced by Iraq, particularly in the war against ISIS which require additional quantities of weapons and equipment for Iraq’s troops”.
According to Iraqi sources to (Rai) "a number of neighboring countries, including the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council have responded to the demand of the Iraqi authorities, and that a large part of these weapons will be given to the Sunni tribes fighting the extremists, especially after the clans have warned that running out of weapons for its Force will eliminate the progress made in more than one area and will restore preference in control for ISIS elements”.
