Sheikh Mohammad, addressing the opening session of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) foreign ministers, said these accelerating developments "oblige us to deal with them effectively and in a way securing the higher interests of our council." Sheikh Mohammad said the guidance of the GCC leaders were the pillars for honoring ambitions of the GCC people.
Following his short speech, the GCC foreign ministers began their closed-door meeting.
