He quoted the study as recommending an information collection system on the needs of the labor market, and restricting the recruitment of foreign laborers in order to provide more jobs to nationals.

 


The percentage of the under-30-year-old unemployed males reached 48 percent, and that of the under-40-year-old unemployed males was 75 percent, while the under-30-year-old jobless females hit 45 percent, he said.

 


Unemployed husbands and wives accounted for 70.4 percent, divorced and widowed jobless people were 10 percent. Jobless wives outnumbered jobless husbands by 75 percent to 41 percent, he said, citing the study.

 


Joblessness among holders of university certificates did not exceed 1.4 percent, vocational training certificate holders; 4.8 percent, secondary certificate holders; 12 percent, and no-certificate holders; 81 percent, he concluded.
