One of the important resolutions is holding an international conference over Jerusalem before year’s end, Kuwait’s Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah told KUNA and Kuwait TV after the summit.

He said the two-day summit reasserted the support of the struggle of the Palestinian people to liberating their occupied lands.
Sheikh Mohammad said the summit affirmed need of commitment to halting normalization of relations with Israel.

"This affirms the position of Kuwait regarding the normalization with Israel. No normalization before withdrawal of Israel from all occupied Arab territories, and achieving just and comprehensive peace," said the Kuwaiti top diplomat.

The Arab leaders, he said, decided to resort to the International Court of Justice and the UN Security Council (UNSC) to stop the Israeli attacks against Al-Aqsa mosque and occupied Jerusalem.
The leaders, said Sheikh Mohammad, approved formation of a five-member committee mandated with the development of the common action and the Arab League. The committee consists of Libya, Qatar, Egypt, Iraq and Yemen.
Proposals over the development of the Arab League will be sent to the Arab countries to seek their views, then a summit will be held to discuss the improvement of the Arab League Charter, he said.
Sheikh Mohammad commented on Iraqi foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari’s meeting with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He said Zebari thanked the State of Kuwait for helping Iraq return to the Arab fold. Zebari also thanked Sheikh Sabah for supporting Iraq to host the next summit.
The Amir of Kuwait, said Sheikh Mohammad, informed the Arab leaders that statements were not enough and there should be action on the ground to preserve the identity of Jerusalem.
The Amir, he added, asked for extending urgent assistance to jerusalem to countering the Israeli judaization policies.
