Kuwait Seeks Extradition Of Citizen For Killing ‘Lover’

The concerned security authorities have initiated coordination with the ‘Interpol’ and Saudi security authorities for the extradition of the suspect to Kuwait.
Earlier, detectives from Hawally Security Department had identified the suspect, who shot the victim at the parking lot of the hospital while she was inside her car, as a Kuwaiti citizen working at the Civil Aviation Department. They also discovered that he was wanted by law for blank cheques fraud.
Security authorities later revealed that they discovered through phone communications between the victim and the suspect that they were involved in a love affair.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received reports on the fateful day about a bleeding woman at the parking area of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. However, she was pronounced dead after being admitted in the hospital.
Initial investigations revealed that the victim was a 32-year old Kuwaiti citizen and had succumbed to the injuries she sustained from two fatal gunshots.
Based on the witnesses’ testimonies, the suspect wanted to talk to the victim but when he was refused, he smashed the side window of her vehicle and shot her. 
The victim’s corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. Investigators lifted fingerprints from the crime scene using which they managed to confirm the identity of the suspect.
Sources revealed that an intensive manhunt is ongoing, adding the investigators affirmed that the suspect will be arrested soon.
