Kuwaiti Cabinet lashes out at Israel”s desecration of sanctities

According to an official statement, the cabinet discussed at a session, held late today, various political affairs and developments on the Arab and International arenas. And in light of the Israeli Government declaration to add the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque, Bilal Mosque and the walls of Jerusalem into the list of Jewish heritage, the ministers expressed strong condemnation and deep concern at this provocative declaration.

 


The government also denounced continous brutal Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people, the breaches of the sanctities in Jerusalem with the aim of judaizing the occupied regions and wiping off the Arab and Islamic identity of the sacred sites.

 


The Cabinet called on the international community to take decisive steps against this hostile Israeli policy that targets the Islamic sanctities for they constitute blatant violation of the international law, various international and humanitarian covenants.

 

Qatar, Sweden discuss bilateral relations

 

Gulf Times: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani with the visiting Swedish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Frank Belfrage in Doha yesterday. Talks dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them. Regional and international issues of mutual concern were also taken up. HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani held a separate meeting with the Swedish State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Frank Belfrage.
