The MP added the government took the sudden decision on the overseas information offices issue and did not care for the demands of MPs to give an eight month extension before making a decision on the issue. He said the cancellation decision was hasty and sudden and they did not pay attention to the recommendations of the parliamentary education committee which asked for time to study the decision.

The MP found it strange for the government to escalate matters with the legislative branch and not to seek cooperation between the two branches. He said the number of grillings is on the rise and for the government to not deal with their subject matter "does not help the continuation of cooperation which we all seek.

He added that the Information Minister promised to seriously deal with the matter and deal with the displeasure of MPs towards the closure of information offices. Al-Muhailbi also note that he will find a means that will satisfy all parties.
