"The ministry warns all citizens not to travel to this state for the time being until the situation there is back to normal," the ministry’s Consular Affairs Department Director Humoud Al-Roudhan said.
Meanwhile, the ministry has issued fresh guidelines for Kuwaitis travelling to the US, including having an international health insurance document owing to extremely high medial treatment costs there, he said.
Kuwaitis wishing to go to the US should observe traffic rules there as traffic violations could lead to the cancellation of their entry visas, he cautioned.
Furthermore, they should not carry with them cash money exceeding USD 100, 000, he admonished.
