A Founding Committee will be constituted under the Royal Office Minister to prepare for the enforcement of the new law which will come into force after two years from its date of
publishing.
However, the provisions of Chapter Three of this new law will come into force with immediate effect and the crimes stated in the new law shall be heard by the constituted courts at each unit till the new law comes into force.
Another royal decree issued the State’s Financial and Administrative Audit Law allowing its chairman to issue executive bylaw of the new law.
The chairman will also issue a bylaw to regularise the affairs of the members, employees and their financial transactions.
A third important royal decree ratified the agreement for the creation of an international axis for transport and transit between the governments of Iran, Oman, Qatar, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Qatar’s Emir holds talks with chairman of Libyan NTC
Gulf Times: HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani held talks with the Chairman of Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdul Jalil at Al Wajbah Palace yesterday.
The NTC chairman is in Doha to take part in the conference of the friends committee in support of Libya due to open here today. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and the latest developments in Libya.
The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani.
Meanwhile, HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held separate talks with the Chairman of Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdul Jalil yesterday.
At the outset of the meeting, which took place at the Doha International Airport, the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent felicitated the Libyan NTC’s chief on the occasion of the full liberation of Libya wishing him and the NTC more success for reconstructing their country under the values of tolerance and the rule of law.
Mustafa Abdul Jalil thanked the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent and the government and people of Qatar for their support to the Libyan people and their legitimate rights.
Talks during the meeting also touched on co-operation and means of enhancing them in several fields. The latest developments on the Libyan arena were also taken up.
Earlier upon arrival in Doha the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent led the well-wishers who welcomed the chairman of Libya’s National Transitional Council and his accompanying delegation.
