“In response to the November 1 report by the Associated Press agency alleging that a Russian official was engaged in negotiations with Taliban representatives in Qatar, we would like to recommend agency to verify the information they receive from the Taliban before publishing it,” the statement says.
“The Russian president’s special envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov is not conducting any talks with the Taliban in Qatar,” the ministry said.
