OIC rejects any intervention in Bahrain’s internal affairs, in accordance with the organization’s charter that states non-interference in any member country’s internal affairs, said OIC Secretary General Akmal il-Din Uglo in remarks on Wednesday Uglo welcomed efforts exerted by Bahrain in fighting terrorists targeting safety and stability of the Kingdom.
"We should take advantage of the negotiations made available by the Bahraini political leadership, in order to support the national reconciliation in the best way to serve the interests of the Bahraini people," he affirmed.
Bahrain is a member state of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) that includes Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Oman.
