He also reaffirmed the country’s policy on its reliance on wisdom and patience approach when addressing the new development of issues on the regional and international arenas.
He hoped that all efforts will collaborate for constructive cooperation among countries to support security, stability and continue the development efforts.
Sultan Qaboos made these remarks while presiding over the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday, in which he highlighted the important role of the private sector, the ongoing efforts to support it and enhance its positive participation with the government in pushing forward the development march, the utilization of its investment in projects that generate job opportunities for youths, providing more scope for individual initiatives through SMEs’ and encouraging entrepreneurship culture, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
He expressed satisfaction with the efforts being exerted by the government and all the institutions of the state in all sectors to implement the successive development plans aimed to complete the basic infrastructure and maximizing the utilization of the available resources to ensure the provision of the best services for citizens in all areas. His Majesty affirmed that 2013 will witness the implementation and the completion of a number of projects that will have positive impact, besides offering more social services that achieve balance between the economic and social dimensions
