He underlined that the outcome of this war is unknown and it will make the Arab countries lose billions of dollars.
Qarzawi’s son warned the Yemen war will have unprecedentedly dire outcomes for the Arab countries, and said, "Countries like Bahrain, Southern Lebanon, Syria and Iraq all might be affected by this war; all those who think the Yemen war is a joke might soon find out that they have taken a hasty decision."
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for four days now, killing, at least, 60 civilians and injuring hundreds more.
Five Persian Gulf States — Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait — and Egypt that are also assisted by Israel and backed by the US have declared war on Yemen in a joint statement issued earlier Thursday.
