"There is an Arab action towards what is happening now in Syria" Qatar News Agency (QNA) quoted the Amir as saying in statements to Al-Jazeera TV station.
"Naturally the Arab countries and the Arab League are on the move — what is now required concerning the situation in Syria is to stop the killings and find room for the people there to discuss the matter amongst themselves and refrain from violence," he added.
