The Emir’s visit coincides with the visits of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and Syrian President Bashar Al Assad.
Talking to media persons, the Lebanese envoy said his country was seeking to boost cooperation in strategic sectors like oil, gas and electricity. Lebanon is giving top priority to Qatari investment.
His country was looking to build facilities for importing liquefied natural gas from Qatar and the feasibility study for the project had been completed, he said.
