Fillons office said that the talks were, firstly, aimed at addressing a number of bilateral questions, notably economic and trade questions, and ways of enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
The French head of government "assured his counterpart of the total availability of French companies to continue to accompany Qatars development and economic diversification, which he praised for its excellent results," the Prime Ministers office indicated.
Fillon also opened the 5th "Finance and Investment Forum" for Qatar, which is being held for the first time in France in the presence of several Qatari and French ministers and a number of business leaders.
