A Qatari foreign ministry source said that the election of Hitto as the premier came in a critical time of a new Syria that would lead the transition government of the country, particularly after Arab League’s decision to give the Syrian opposition a seat in the league.
The source also welcomed participation of the interim government in the Arab League meeting scheduled on the end of this month.
