Some students have complained that their monthly expenses for accommodation, water and electricity and telephone bills amount to a total of about QR1,700, according to Al Sharq.
Students coming from financially weak families have been affected because their families cannot support in their studies. They urged SEC to raise the amount so that they can focus on their studies without bothering about the daily expenses.
