Saudi Arabia calls on nationals to leave Lebanon

The Saudi Embassy’s decision comes amid reports that the a clan in Lebanon had taken hostage more than twenty people it suspected of belonging to the terrorist Free Syrian Army in response to the kidnapping of one of the clan members in Syria.
The United Arab Emirates has also demanded that its nationals leave Lebanon for security concerns. 
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. 
Saudi Arabia and several other anti-Damascus regimes have supported arming the insurgents in Syria. 
Riyadh is also accused of seeking to overthrow the Syrian government by sending terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda into Syria and providing them with financial support.
The terrorist groups have kidnapped several Lebanese and Iranian pilgrims in Syria and they have reportedly killed a number of the abductees. 
The UK newspaper Guardian reported on June 22 that the Saudi regime would pay the salary of the members of the terrorist Free Syrian Army to encourage “mass defections from the military and… pressure” the Damascus government.
