“The deal is important not only for the world – it’s also to the region as well,” Al-Attiyah told CNN. “Qatar has been constantly and systematically encouraging all parties that the Iran nuclear issue has to be solved peacefully through dialogue.”
A historical nuclear deal was reached Tuesday between Iran and the six countries — China, Britain, France, Russia, the United States and Germany, after marathon tough negotiations. Under the deal, sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union and the United Nations will be lifted.
