Prince Turki, in a press statement after the opening of a regional workshop over elimination in Jeddah, said the agency was adopting a certain mechanism to deal with earthquakes in Al-Ais area in Madina.
Al-Ais was exposed to tremors with varying degrees over the past days triggering evacuation by locals.
Prince Turki said the civil defense was exerting efforts to evacuate any village or populated area.
