“Due to the developments in Syria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has shut down its embassy in Damascus and withdrawn all its diplomats there,” said the statement.
Prince Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Interior Minister, spoke on Syria during the 29th session of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunisia.
“We all wish Syria lasting stability and prosperity. We want Syria in the forefront as usual in all that concerns Arabs. We pray to Allah to guide it to the right path and reconciliation,” he said.
