The Saudi society with all its groups has become consciously aware of what the deviant minds or extremists are planning for, including targeting of youth and mistreating them through use of their religious emotions and recruit them to be used as targets, an interior ministry source told Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Such dilemma has become obvious by the numbers of calls the ministry receives from parents spouces who use the assigned ministry number (990) for such cases, the source said.
The source indicated that three non-related young men disappeared but because their families were able to use such calls the incident resulted in monitoring them and later return of those three to their family and currently under a designed program and rehabilitation period.
In recent months, the Saudi ministry has been effectively utilizing specialized programs for rehabilitations of youths from such path, including help by clerics in programs broadcasted in television.
