Saudi King stresses resolve against terrorism, solidarity with Yemen

In a call to the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, King Abdullah condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a convoy of tourists in the Yemeni city of Mareb on Monday, killing and injuring a number of civilians.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said King Abdullah extended sympathy to the Yemeni President and to the families of the victims.

The two leaders also discussed the latest regional and international developments, in addition to the bilateral relations between their countries during the phonecall.

Seven Spanish tourists and two Yemenis were killed while eight other people were injured on Monday when a car bomb exploded at a tourist site in Mareb, northeast Yemen.
