Based on what was said by Minister of Culture and Information Abdulaziz Khoja, the cabinet demanded action from the international community, and the United States in particular, to put pressure on Israel to conform to its obligations towards resolutions agreed upon internationally, and based on the Arab Peace Initiative.
The Cabinet also urged pressure on Israel to halt its settlement expansion activities, especially in occupied Jerusalem, or any one-sided policies to change strategic demographics on ground.
In other regions, the cabinet condemned the latest bomb attacks in Iraq. It also called on factions in Lebanon to prepare a stable atmosphere for the upcoming legislative elections.
Domestically, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, stated that his country will continue on the path of development, having recently signed a contract for a North to South railway project and another railway project which will link Makkah, Madina and Jeddah.
