"We are living a stage in which concepts, priorities and the political map are changing, regimes are being overthrown and other entities are being built," premier Haneyya said in his Friday khutba (sermon) in a new mosque in Gaza.

The premier noted that one of these regimes that were ousted was assuming three tasks, one was to ensure that the Islamic caliphate does not return, another was to keep protecting the "Zionist entity", and the last was to ensure that the nation is behind the other nations especially the Americans and Israelis.

He said that the Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi’s reception of Hamas leaders in the republican palace, where his ousted predecessor Hosni Mubarak was residing, is one of the fruits of the Arab spring and the Egyptian popular will.

Haneyya, in another context, congratulated during his khutba the Palestinian student Huda Ghalia, the girl whose entire family was massacred in 2006 by the Israeli navy during their presence on Gaza shores, on her success in the high school exams.

He affirmed that Ghalia’s school excellence is a message to the Israeli occupation that this girl managed to get over her wounds and suffering despite her great loss.

He said his government would support financially Ghalia’s college study until her graduation.
